ABACUS:- 


It was an early calculating device which used beads moving on strings.it used the idea of place value and counting in groups. A bead stands for one' ten or one hundred' etc. depending upon the row it is in.

It was developed by Charles Babbage who is known as the father of computer

HOLLERITH MACHINE:-

Hollerith Machine

Herman Hollerith' developed an Electromechanical machine that could read Pounched cards as input.
